Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:
- Receive incoming daily, weekly and monthly shipments
- Compare packing list to actual items received to insure accuracy.
- Coordinate freight shipments to customers and back to Spain HQ.
- Arrange for daily pickups from UPS, FedEx, DHL, couriers, etc. as needed
- Pick and package weekly shipments to our other locations (Canada/California).
- Pick and package customer orders from packing slips created by office.
- Bi-annual full inventory counts, along with inventory cycle counts throughout the year.
- Assist internal and external customers with shipping and tracking inquiries.
- Maintain a neat and organized work area
- Any other related tasks assigned by management as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years of previous shipping receiving experience
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP experience, a PLUS!).
- High school diploma or equivalent. Military experience welcomed.
- Excel/Word and email familiarity
- Ability to work efficiently and without supervision
- International shipping (customs paperwork) experience, a PLUS!
