Summary: The Shipping and Receiving Clerk, reporting to the Service/Production Manager, is responsible for filling all orders, verification and Receiving product from vendors, and maintaining cycle counts. They will assist walk-in customers with their pickups and occasionally pickup or deliver product to customers and vendors. This role will work with inside and outside sales teams to ensure timely shipping/receiving of all product and arranging for the transportation of products. They will also assist in a variety of warehouse duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Shipping & Receiving Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading all trucks.
- Inventory cycle counting.
- Picking orders.
- Scheduling freight trucks.
- Repetitive lifting and moving of heavy objects.
- Receive and verify parts against purchase order.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Hose Assembly Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble work to be accomplished by gathering parts, subassemblies, and tools per bill of material.
- Cut, measure, and assemble a variety of hose assemblies per customer specifications.
- Coil, box, and palletize hose shipments.
Education/Skills/Experience
Required:
- Computer skills; including Microsoft Office, UPS WorldShip, and FedEx Online
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred:
- Forklift experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.
- Ability to stand or walk most of the day.
- Ability to twist and turn at least 25% of day.
- Stoop and bend at least 25% of day.
- Ability to reach above shoulders at least 25% of day.
- Repetitive hand and wrist movements at least 50% of the day.
- Forearm rotation at least 25%of the day.
