- Assign staff to each work area.

- QUAC department for only technical defects (fabric defect)
- NAS department for damaged merchandise
- Ensure that safety standards and company policies are met in a timely manner.
- Coordinate that the containers and trucks assigned are downloaded according to the order of arrival.
- Ensure that there's a constant flow of empty floats and merchandise to put away.
- Ensure that the number of assigned production pieces is met daily.
- Report to the purchasing department the containers that are incomplete (empty spaces).
- Take immediate action when the rules are not met or the Dispatcher system is delayed.
- Train the new Receiving Material Workers.
- Constant staff supervision to ensure that the established goals are met in a timely manner.
- Ensure that personnel comply with company policies, procedures and safety rules.
- Provides assistance to other departments when necessary.
- Manages and leads the Shipping team, including performance reviews, staff training & Development, hiring, terminations, and couching and counseling.
- Oversees and develops a high performing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives and identifies inefficiencies.
- Works with lead team ensure that all employees workloads are planned, prioritized, monitored, and organized.
- Must Supervise and be hands on with the different tasks of the Shipping area.
- Must perform flow control functions when need be.
- Must meet and inform employees via meetings of any Company updates, Manufacturers' Defects, and Assembling issues that may arise.
- Coordinates the daily Shipping Workflow, Delivery Truck Distribution by Dock, Quality Control, and Tugger Operations.
- Supervises the work of the Material Handlers and proper handling of the merchandise.
- Coordinates and guides new employees in the Shipping Area.
- Assist DC Customer Care with Exchanges that need to be opened and inspected.
- Must oversee and create the Shipping Area schedules for Internal Customers.
- Must keep track of the PTO requested by the Internal Customers in the Shipping Area.
- Supervise the Warehouse Support Member assigned to the assembly line.
- Ability to communicate very well with the team.

Qualifications:
- Ability to efficiently communicate with the team.
- Proficiency with computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of Dispatcher (inventory system).
- Knowledge of technical and interpretation of drawings.
- Bilingual Preferred (English & Spanish)
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Knowledge of the LOFT system and Inventory (Dispatcher)
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Tugger license and forklift pallets preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a supervisor in a Distribution Center
Physical Demands:
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to lift and/or push up to 75 lbs.
- Mobilize fleets full of merchandise (pull, push, load,).
- It requires you to stand and walk constantly.
