Greet and welcome guests (drivers) as soon as they arrive at the office. Process orders and deliveries in corresponding system. Ensures all data in documents provided by external and internal clients is correct. Keep files of product shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports. Inventory experience. Maintains a sufficient stock of office supplies on daily basis. Ensures adherence to environmental management and systems procedures. Bilingual ENG/SPA.- Computer skills.
- Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
- Straightens work area and rotates/pulls merchandise forward for easy/accurate access.
- Mark materials with identifying information
- Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
- Conducts inventory and maintains inventory records.
- Keep files of goods shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for managers.
- Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling.
- Ensure adherence to environmental management and systems.
- Trouble shoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work
- Day shift. Shift times will vary. Overtime required as needed depending on business needs and will include Saturday and Sunday during peak times.
