Position Overview:
We are seeking an Outbound Shipping Associate to join our logistics team at Marley Spoon. As an Outbound Shipping Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of our meal kits to our valued customers. Your dedication and attention to detail will contribute to the satisfaction of our customers and the success of our operations.
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
- Load meal kits onto delivery trucks ensuring secure and efficient transport.
- Perform quality checks on outgoing shipments to verify that orders are complete and in excellent condition.
- Safely and efficiently use various tools and equipment for shipping operations.
- Collaborate with the production team to prioritize orders for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety guidelines and best practices to prevent accidents or injuries.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in outbound shipping or related warehouse roles preferred
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs
