Shipping and Receiving Clerk

We offer you to become a part of our company at Nibav Lifts Inc as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, playing a key role in managing the flow of products in and out of the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments.

Responsibilities:

Shipping Operations:

Prepare and pack orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Generate shipping labels and documentation, coordinating with carriers for timely pickups.

Receiving Procedures:

Receive incoming shipments, inspecting and verifying the accuracy of contents.

Record and report discrepancies or damages to the warehouse supervisor.

Inventory Management:

Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, ensuring proper storage and labeling.

Update and maintain accurate records of inventory levels.

Order Fulfillment:

Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to meet customer requirements.

Ensure accurate and timely processing of orders, meeting quality standards.

Loading and Unloading:

Load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks.

Safely handle and move materials within the warehouse.

Quality Control:

Conduct visual inspections of products to identify and report any defects or discrepancies.

Ensure that all items meet quality standards before shipment.

Documentation:

Complete and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Generate reports related to inventory levels, order status, and warehouse activities.

Communication:

Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to coordinate shipments.

Provide status updates on incoming and outgoing orders as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk or in a similar role.

Familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems.

Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.

Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects regularly.

Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
