The Stockroom Clerk is responsible for receiving materials, supplies and parts from RENA vendors, unpacking, verification that material received matches the packing slip, noting any discrepancies, and moving the materials into inventory. Responsible for outbound shipments, kitting materials for production and performing inventory counts.
- Receives and inspects product per company guidelines.
- Maintains correct quantities of items in inventory.
- Generates labels for stock items and kitted jobs.
- Prepares products for shipment.
- Ships outbound orders, both domestically and internationally.
- Performs inventory cycle counts and physical inventory.
- Pulls material for production kitted jobs in a timely manner.
- High school diploma
- One year stockroom experience preferred.
- High attention to detail.
- Intermediate level computer skills using MS Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Preferred experience using MRP (Material Resource Program) system for receiving, kitting, inventory and shipping.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to prioritize and follow through on multiple tasks/projects.
- Must be self-motivated, positive, and energetic.
- May operate forklift, pallet jack/power truck in unloading, moving or storing materials as required.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
Manufacturing floor environment including work at a computer terminal. Work involves extended periods of sitting, frequent walking and lifting up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
