ABOUT THE JOB: The Sheet Metal Shop Techis responsible for accurately fabricate Sheet Metal products per customer specifications.

• Selects materials and lays outs simple and complex details using shop math, drawings and verbal instructions.
• Fabricate and maintain thin Sheet Metal products.
• Responsible for cutting, slitting, and bending metal to make metal roofing trim.
• Make the required calculations and use tapes and rulers to lay out the work.
• Operate power and non-powered hand tools and equipment.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Ability to see details at close range.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently seeking periodic guidance and direction.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Respond to field requests.
• Maintain production on stock items.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 years of Sheet Metal/CNC experience.
