Welder - Stainless Steel Sheet Metal

Position Description

Position Responsibilities- Essential

• Responsible for welding machinery with multiple techniques and machinery parts
• Ability to read and understand blueprints / drawings
• Ability to fit and weld multiple shapes and designs
• Proficient with equipment and tools, i.e., cranes, forklift, welding machines, precision measuring devices, hand and power tools
• Must possess mathematic skills to determine angles and proportions
• Must possess both Mig and Tig skills with thin stainless materials
• Ability to lay out a weld process

Position Responsibilities- Other

• Ability to work within a team environment
• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Housekeeping within area

Essential Skills and Experience

• Ability to use multiple precision measuring devices
• Ability to use saws when necessary
• Ability to use plasma cutter when necessary

Beneficial Skills and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent recommended, Technical College Certification in welding
• 1 – 3 years experience working within a welding shop using multiple disciplines of welding, machining, precision measuring devices and materials
• Ability to work necessary hours to complete the machinery build
