Service Technician
Responsibilities:
1. Equipment Installation and Maintenance:
a. Install, maintain, and repair equipment according to company standards.
b. Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
2. Diagnosis and Troubleshooting:
a. Identify and diagnose issues with equipment or systems.
b. Troubleshooting problems using appropriate testing.
3. Repair Replacements:
a. Perform necessary repairs or replacements of faulty components or parts.
b. Ensure that replacements meet quality and safety standards.
4. Customer Interaction:
a. Interact with customers to understand and address their service needs.
b. Provide clear expectations of the service performed and answer any customer queries.
5. Documentation:
a. Maintain accurate and detailed records of service activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
b. Prepare service reports and submit them in a timely manner.
6. Preventive Maintenance:
a. Implement preventive maintenance measures to reduce the likelihood of equipment breakdowns.
b. Schedule and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
7. Safety Compliance:
a. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all service activities.
b. Ensure the work is performed in compliance with relevant safety standards.
8. Training and Development:
a. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
b. Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills.
9. Collaboration:
a. Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex issues.
b. Communicate effectively with internal teams to share knowledge and insights.
10. Quality Assurance:
a. Maintain a commitment to high-quality service delivery.
b. Conduct quality checks after service activities to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- Experience as a service technician in a related field is a plus, but we are willing to
- train.
- Strong technical and mechanical skills.
- Excellent problem solving and diagnostic skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Service truck and tools are supplied.
Valid driver’s license is required.
Must be able to pass a physical.
Salary: $22-25/ hour with possibility of overtime, DOE.
