Position: Service Technician (80% travel to support events)
The Role:
- Travel with the Marketing & Sales teams, providing technical support & upkeep of marketing & sales vehicles.
- Support new market launches and gallery/service center openings.
- Ability to travel up to 75% - 100% of the time.
- Confidently repair basic and major mechanical issues and perform basic electrical and mechanical diagnosis while traveling and on-site at HQ.
- Maintain a high knowledge level of High Voltage (HV), Low Voltage (LV), and general electric vehicle systems.
- Effectively work with the appropriate software suite to properly and completely document all fleet vehicle interactions.
- Ability to demonstrate and teach learned technical skills/knowledge with others.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and passion for creating positive client experiences.
- Become an embedded part of Beta Build, becoming a technical expert in Lucid vehicles.
- Eligible for medical, dental, vision, 401(k), equity award, paid time off, etc.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of High Voltage systems, Low Voltage systems, and Electric Vehicle powertrains.
- Experience in luxury automobile repair environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to use basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office as well as learn proprietary DMS software.
- EPA 609 Certification.
- ASE Certification(s).
- Must possess a valid driver license.
- Flexible work availability and ability to travel as needed to support Sales & Marketing efforts.
- Startup experience.
- Experience in luxury automobile repair environments.
- Fabrication experience.
- Ability to drive non-commercial truck and trailer.
- OEM Certified Master Technician.
- EPA 609 Certification.
- OEM Specific Technician Training.
- The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education, and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
- California Bay Area - $34-45 per hour.
