The role of the Vehicle Readiness Supervisor is pivotal in enhancing the overall Tesla experience, playing a crucial role in ensuring vehicle deliveries exceed customer expectations. In this role you will collaborate with a dynamic team of Vehicle Movement Specialists and Readiness Specialists to actively seek opportunities for continuous improvement and innovative approaches to vehicle readiness. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the meticulous preparation of customer cars, performing vehicle washes, and readying new vehicles for customer delivery.

- Lead a team of Vehicle Readiness Specialists and Vehicle Movement Specialists effectively and efficiently to ensure pre-delivery vehicles are being delivered with high quality standards
- Partner with Service and Delivery leadership to plan out each quarter’s delivery volume and set your team up for success to meet Tesla’s quarterly and yearly goals
- Manage vendor’s accounts when needed to ensure they are providing quality service to Tesla at a reasonable cost
- Prioritize all vehicle work that needs to be completed in compliance with company standards and have a plan to have that work completed prior to its delivery date (Clean, Paint Correction, Repairs, movement, detail, etc.)
- Track schedules, prioritize, communicate with various teams, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and escalate through appropriate channels when needed
- Manage inventory and reorder supplies, as needed
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to meet business needs
- Proven track record of a great work ethic
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player
- Ability to lift 50 - 60 pounds
- Must have a valid driver’s license in country of employment
Compensation and Benefits
Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire:
$97,968 - $205,200/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
