JSG is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for a cement plant in the Bakersfield, CA area. This is a local opportunity. This position is responsible for plant maintenance and leads a team of 6 workers.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains, repairs and services a variety of plant equipment including crushers, cement coolers, mills, motors, conveyors, gear boxes, pumps, tail pulleys, fans, and a variety of other equipment.
- Working in restricted spaces or crawl areas.
- Uses a variety of tools such as pipe wrenches, hydraulic wrenches, etc.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to physically perform all essential job function of the position.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays.
- 5+ years of cement plant experience.
