The Service Greeter at Commonwealth Honda is a key member of our customer service team. This individual will primarily be responsible for welcoming and directing customers who enter our dealership for service. They will also assist with various administrative tasks and provide support to our service advisors.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a Full Time, hourly position in the auto industry with a starting pay of $17 per hour. The employee will be paid weekly and will receive a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and employee discounts on products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers as they enter the dealership for service
- Direct customers to the appropriate service advisor or department based on their needs
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department or take messages as needed
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and data entry
- Maintain a clean and organized lobby area for customers
- Act as a liaison between customers and service advisors, providing status updates on their vehicle and addressing any questions or concerns
- Coordinate with the service department to ensure that all vehicles are ready for customers in a timely manner
- Provide exceptional customer service by going above and beyond to meet the needs of our customers
- Attend and participate in training and team meetings as required
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of the automotive industry and service processes is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
