Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and organized Service Dispatcher to join our team. The Service Dispatcher will be responsible for efficiently coordinating and scheduling service requests for our technicians. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and dispatch technicians to customer locations based on urgency, availability, and skillset.
- Maintain an organized schedule and ensure timely dispatching of technicians to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Provide accurate and detailed information to technicians regarding customer locations, service requirements, and any special instructions.
- Coordinate with customers to confirm appointment times, gather relevant information, and address any concerns or questions.
- Monitor technicians' progress, ensuring they complete jobs within designated time frames and update the dispatching system accordingly.
- Track and document service activities, including job completion status, materials used, and customer feedback.
- Assist in resolving scheduling conflicts, emergencies, and service disruptions by reassigning resources or contacting clients to reschedule appointments.
- Collaborate with the service team to optimize technician schedules and workloads.
- Maintain open lines of communication with customers, technicians, and other team members to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a dispatching role, preferably in the HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical service industry.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with customers, technicians, and team members.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with dispatching software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Outstanding customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.

• Valid SC driver's license and a safe driving record.
