Job Description
- Create service calls with our software and dispatch service technicians to customer calls.
- Call customer and inform them of ETA of technician and technician name.
- Be familiar with technician abilities to best place them according to the needed service.
- Maintain status of service calls and check them for proper time, notes, materials, etc.
- A professional and courteous telephone manner.
- Tracking of materials needed for quoted work and service.
- Plan out and schedule the next day’s calls on each technician board.
- Check in on status of calls with technicians to plan out schedule and coordinate with customers.
- Plan out schedule with Service manager.
- Perform job turnover meetings with account managers and service technicians to make sure all necessary information to complete to customer expectation.
- Data entry needed for call and part status.
- Know and understand service work order module and service contract.
- Active in all facets of dispatch
- Various reporting responsibilities as needed.
- Professional and courteous telephone manner
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Basic computer skills such as Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook.
- Communication and problem solving
- Requires a high school diploma...additional education a plus.
- Previous dispatching/customer service experience.
- Business knowledge of the Mechanical or Construction industry
