Service Delivery Manager

Rafay is currently seeking a Service Delivery Manager to assist with customer onboarding to the platform. This individual will assist with discovery, planning, onboarding to Rafay Cloud Automation Platform and K8s supporting tools in customer environments. This individual will assist with identifying the project scope, strategic conversations, driving customers to solutioning, defining project guidelines, as well as coordinating the resources (internal & external) necessary to successfully complete the project.

Top 3 Required Skills/Experience:

· Formal project management expertise, presentation, and leadership skills.

· Expertise in Kubernetes and container management technologies, and various tools used in the K8s ecosystem

· In-depth experience in cloud technologies across Compute, Database, Storage and Networks within multiple cloud service providers

Responsibilities:

· Develop and continually update detailed project management plans and schedules. Work with the teams to define/refine the project scope.

· Facilitate the gathering of information required to estimate project cost, resources, time and deliverables.

· Manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved with project change request form.

· Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project. Review deliverables prepared by the team before passing to the client.

· Establish, schedule, and facilitate regular status meetings with project personnel. Identify and coordinate any effects on dependent projects.

· Identify, coordinate and select internal and external resources and expertise as appropriate to achieve program objectives.

· Work with cross-functional teams like Product, Engineering, Pre-Sales and Customer Success to meet the customer requirements during onboarding and transition

· Identify the elements of risk in a project. Analyze and prioritize and consolidate project risks and assess its potential impact to the client.

· Develop and maintain risk plans, processes and systems in order to mitigate risk, with assistance.

· Strong desired customer facing experience, and ability to communicate effectively at various levels internal & external to the organization.

· Led projects within the Kubernetes space specializing in application modernization, cloud migration, hybrid cloud

· Sound working knowledge of tooling for Observability, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and FinOps

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in related field required.

· Ten years of Information Technology experience required.

· 5+ years' experience managing projects in multiple technologies and functions required.

· Project management tool and methodology in-depth knowledge required.

· Preferred certifications are PMP, AWS Solution Architect Associate or similar, CKA or similar

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000-$160,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
