Service Advisor

We are looking for a Full-Time Service Advisor

The Service Advisor is the employee whose primary responsibility is scheduling and managing customer appointments, while accurately and clearly describing concerns and issues on repair orders. Other duties may include assisting in documenting concerns the customer has with their motorcycle, facilitating the preparation of warranty claims, recalls, and extended service plans.

Job Duties:

• Maintain friendly & professional relationship with customers as the first point of contact for Service
• Perform and document walk-around inspections of customer motorcycles during service intake
• Effectively communicate with customers about inspection results & recommending corrective procedures
• Manage customer complaints & concerns to find a resolution quickly & effectively
• Work closely with Service team as well as Parts & Accessories team to provide the best service to the customer
• Full-Time position at 40 hours/week (Monday-Friday 8:45am – 6:00pm; Saturday REQUIRED: 8:45am – 5:00pm; Closed on Sunday)

Requirements:

• Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess great organizational skills
• Can work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task well
• Must be comfortable using technology – consistent use of PC and tablet throughout the day
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Prior experience with Harley-Davidson® products or motorcycle lifestyle is not required, but welcome
• Prior Powersports or automotive service advising preferred, not required
• H-D of Madison is willing to train the right candidate

Income Expectations:

• Full-Time position at 40 hours/week - During Summer hours, Saturdays are required with one day off during the week
• Paid weekly - Base pay starting between $30,000 – $34,000 annually; Commission typically between $25,000 – $40,000 annually

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
