Server/Host

Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Server. As a Host/Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable.

Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver orders to the kitchen and ensure timely service
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional manner
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
- Provide recommendations and answer any questions about the menu
- Process payments using cash register or POS system
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area and work stations
- Assist with food handling and ensure adherence to food safety guidelines
- Address guest concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service role is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional guest relations
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately
- Knowledge of POS systems and cash register operation
- Familiarity with culinary terms and menu items
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks

Pay: From $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
