Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Server. As a Host/Server, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent guest service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers. If you have a passion for the food industry and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Provide menus to guests and assist with any questions or recommendations
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
- Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly
- Ensure tables are properly set up with clean utensils, napkins, and condiments
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Sanitize tables, chairs, and dining areas regularly
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate to management when necessary
- Process guest payments
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
