Ditch kitchen & surf bar is looking for Servers & Bartenders to join our team in Bay Shore, NY.
Bartender/Server Job Description:
The Server/Bartender is responsible for providing excellent service to customers and fellow staff. Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized bar, preparing alcoholic beverages, and selling alcohol products.
Essential Duties:
- Preparing alcoholic beverages including garnishing shots, mixing drinks, and mixing cocktails
- Selling alcohol products including mixers, bottles, and other related items
- Preparing bar equipment including mixing pumps, dispensers, strainers, strainers with various ingredients including wine and spirits
- Cleaning bar tables and equipment including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, cleaning windows and walls, cleaning windows and windows doors in the bar area as needed by removing trash
- Maintaining inventory of all bar supplies including wineglasses, glasses, etc.
- Maintaining the appearance of the bar area including cleaning bottles and glasses, wiping down tables with a wet sponge or mop, wiping down windows and windows doors with a damp mop or wipe down windows and windows doors with a damp mop or vacuum cleaner as needed to remove trash in the bar area as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor to ensure efficient operation of the establishment.
Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in restaurant service preferred.
- Must be able to work flexible hours depending on the business needs. We are open from 11am-7pm on weekdays & every other weekend during holidays & weekends.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
