Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide excellent customer service
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized bar area
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Monitor customer intake and prevent overconsumption or underage drinking
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a smooth operation
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems for order processing and payment handling
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact with diverse clientele
- Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating drink prices
- Familiarity with retail math for inventory management and stock control
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced hospitality setting
