We have a new opening for a Senior Training & Development Specialist to join our Training and Development Staff.
Our Training Team provides management, leadership and soft skills training, virtually and in-person, at our training center in King of Prussia and onsite at our client’s location.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for someone who loves making a difference through facilitation.
In this role, you will manage our Contract Trainers, the Training Programs being delivered and the content library.
All Training provided is in person, on-site, or hybrid and could be from 1-4 days per week depending on what is scheduled.
Job Function overview includes:
Facilitates training sessions, in-person, virtually and hybrid, up to 3 - 4 days per week.
Keep abreast of training trends, developments and best practices.
Reviews existing training programs, suggests enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs of clientele, the organization, or the industry.
Regularly review and update existing training programs to ensure engagement, learning and retention and/or to meet the changing needs of clientele, the organization, or the industry.
Implement effective and purposeful training methods.
Tailor training materials, as needed, to target specific needs.
Work with Product Manager to create and manage the training schedule.
Select and manage resources, including working with both internal employees and training partners to deliver training.
Troubleshoot issues as they arrive with workshops, facilitators, content, schedules, etc.
Manage the technologies required to develop, manage and deliver training.
Cultivate relationships with members and clients.
Make recommendations based on observations and consultation to existing clients regarding future training and coaching opportunities.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
* A minimum of 2+ years’ experience in Training and Development Management
* Superb track record in developing and executing successful training programs
* Instructional Design experience
* Experience in both Managing and Facilitating Management, Leadership, and Soft Skills training
* Knowledge of HR and Organizational Training needs
* Computer experience including Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word
* Able to operate necessary software and hardware required in a training environment
Required Skills/Abilities:
Familiar with traditional and modern training processes.
Understanding of instructional design and adult learning theory.
Demonstrated In-person and virtual facilitation skills.
eLearning development, a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and related business and communication tools.
Critical thinker with innovative problem-solving skills.
Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
Strategic and creative mindset.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing while delivering training
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift approximately 15 pounds at times.
