This position allows for 100% remote work. Remote work necessitates a high-level trust in our employees and we strictly adhere to the details found below in our Remote Work Policy.

Valiant's focus is Cybersecurity; however, we have been expanding into other areas of IT for the past several years and will continue to do so. We:

  • Are a large, small HUBZone business with a runway on many contract vehicles anticipating outgrowing small business status in the coming years

As a Senior Technical Writer and Federal Solutions Architect you will:

  • Work directly with the proposal team, technical SMEs, business development, and operations teams in leading the technical solution analysis, design, strategies, and action plans.

  • Ensure that technical solution responses are written in a clear, readable format that can be understood by technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Work within the Business Development team to provide technical subject matter expertise in developing customer and market penetration strategies through analysis, design, and solution approaches to meet target client requirements and objectives.
  • Work with client-facing and technical leadership and be responsible for defining innovative, client-focused solutions.
  • Be required to stay abreast of new standards and technologies, making recommendations to adopt and develop technical capabilities for potential infusion into current client engagements and offerings.
  • Assist in transition management during contract start-up providing technical solution consultation and support for other client-facing needs.
  • Be comfortable working in a remote capacity.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Experience facilitating Technical Demonstrations / Technical Challenges / Product Demonstrations as part of a more extensive solicitation/evaluation process in support of a solution or proposal offering

  • Innovative: Someone who stays abreast of new industry standards and technologies
  • Personal Drive: We want someone with a strong work ethic and the ability to "push" themselves. Management will help you achieve your greatness, but that personal drive to close deals and outperform must come from within.
  • Good Listener: The ability to uncover and understand prospective customers' business objectives and create the most appropriate solution based on their needs.
  • Opportunistic: The creativity and awareness to find new opportunities and the drive and commitment to close them.
  • You Love People, and Love Meeting NEW People: We love our customers - service with a smile goes a long way. We love our team - organizational cultural matters.
