Senior Tax Accountant

CPA practice in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant with 4 plus years of public accounting experience to work remotely. We are looking for a professional team member who enjoys working with a wide variety of clients and demonstrates organizational skills, technical skills, and effective communication. How you’ll contribute:

· Prepare Individual tax returns

· Prepare business tax returns

· Accounting

What You’ll Bring:

· 4+ years of experience in a similar role with an accounting firm

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

· Preferably a licensed CPA

· Extensive knowledge in Tax preparation for mid to high earning individuals and businesses

· Proficient in preparing and reviewing most types of federal and state tax returns (income, payroll, sales, etc.)

· Experience using CCH Access/tax software experience a plus

· Must be knowledgeable in QuickBooks, & Microsoft Office.

· Enthusiasm for serving customers and working on a team with other like-minded tax experts, especially in a dynamic and evolving work environment.

· High attention to detail and problem-solving skills

· Strong verbal and written communications skills

· Desire to learn and grow professionally on your area of expertise

· Ability to work 50-55 hours a week from January to April

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
