An experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist with solid core recruiting skills – that knows how to build and manage a candidate profile, can develop a sourcing strategy, properly assess candidate qualifications, and present and close opportunities effectively. The Role
This Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-life cycle recruitment for non-technical and customer service positions. You will be responsible for sourcing, assessing, and recruiting top candidates into the organization across multiple disciplines and building and maintaining talent pipelines for future hiring. You will consult with hiring managers on all aspects of the Talent Acquisition process including recruitment strategy, candidate selection, and offer presentation.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Accurately evaluating candidates based on contractual prerequisite, core competencies and cultural fit
- Building effective networks and relationships to maintain a strong pipeline of talent
- Managing the flow of employee referrals and candidates
- Compiling and communicating recruiting data and metrics and ensuring compliance with hiring policies, practices, and company values
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 4 years of recruiting experience across multiple disciplines
- Proven success leading full life cycle recruitment efforts, as well as pipeline building and management; demonstrated experience managing requisitions across multiple disciplines
- Proven ability to proactively work with hiring managers to drive the recruitment process
- Experience using an applicant tracking system (we use Workday) as well as LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social recruiting platforms; experience utilizing job boards, target company cold-calling, and other sourcing mechanisms to identify candidates
- Knowledge of common human resources practices, employment laws and/or government compliance regulations that affect recruitment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.A./B.S. Degree or PHR or other certifications a plus
- Experience handling surge and high volume of positions in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle multiple projects at one time
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong organizational skills
- Entrepreneurial ability to approach the challenges and opportunities of working in a dynamic industry
- Experience recruiting in the federal contracting industries
- Recruiting Agency Experience
- Team player who works well with counterparts from various functions/ departments and can influence the work of counterparts
- Excels at using quantitative data to drive recommendations and decisions
