Intro and job overview:

The Primary responsibility of the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is to oversee the full life-cycle of recruiting that includes but is not limited to sourcing, recruiting, screening, scheduling interviews and recommending candidates using creative sourcing methods (internal and external) for the US and sometimes other locations depending on workload. This role is in a fast-paced environment where being proactive and providing attention to detail is a must. You will assist in being the liaison for contracts that fall within our department and negotiating annually. Support diversity & inclusion initiatives along with internal mobility globally that are aligned with recruitment. This role is 100% remote in the central or eastern time zone.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Oversees the full life cycle of the recruiting process by screening resumes, interviewing candidates (by phone), administers appropriate assessments when required; works with hiring manager on making recommendations for hire (or not hire) and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings.
  • In this role, a majority of the openings you will be responsible for is IT, Engineering, Professional Services, and Sales Engineering. In peak times you may also be responsible for Finance/Accounting, Marketing, Shared Services, Operations and Sales.
  • Uses the applicant tracking module in Greenhouse to manage the recruiting process.
  • Educate hiring managers on the recruitment model and process.
  • Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, talent pools, Handshake and LinkedIn Recruiter Enterprise, to identify and attract quality candidates.
  • Promotes job postings to ensure high visibility with potential candidates in the local community and throughout the area.
  • Support diversity & inclusion initiatives along with internal mobility globally that are aligned with recruitment.
  • Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation).
  • Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • Create new processes where necessary.
  • Employer branding and Culture building.
  • Gather and present status updates on sales roles to leadership along with trends in the market.
  • You will assist in being the liaison for contracts that fall within our department and negotiating annually.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience involved in the full life-cycle recruiting. Global recruitment experience preferred.
  • Engineering, IT and Professional Service recruitment experience required.
  • Sales, Marketing, Sales Engineering, Finance/Accounting recruitment experience preferred.
  • Hands on ATS experience required. Greenhouse preferred.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service to employees, candidates, business partners, leaders and clients.
  • Ability to handle requisitions in peak times for the US region. (e.g. 15+ requisitions at a time)
  • Ability to work autonomously and use resources available to complete tasks timely.
  • Experience managing change in a rapidly changing and a growing, culturally diverse environment.
  • Experience in supporting diversity & inclusion initiatives along with internal mobility initiatives globally.
  • A demonstrated track record of managing and prioritizing multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong professional presence, ability to interact with various internal and external stakeholders and gain respect quickly.
  • Demonstrate ability to appropriately handle confidential information and sensitive situations in a reliable manner.
