The Senior Systems Engineer will provide multi-disciplinary support to government system acquisition program management offices and will serve as an advisor to government personnel. They will lead working groups and develop engineering solutions to major acquisition program issues. The position will support multiple projects for a variety DoD acquisition program offices, work with senior government personnel on a regular basis, and will frequently be called on to provide briefings and lead large meetings. This is a Part Time position that is based out of our Beavercreek,OH office, with travel and remote work options supporting out-of-DoD, Federal Civilian, and commercial customers as required.

- An active DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Master’s Degree in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5-10 years broad technical and managerial experience with DoD, including Systems Engineering analysis in support of major acquisition programs
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, responsible team player able to work independently with minimal daily direction
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- Active Top Secret clearance, SCI eligible
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with MBSE
- Prior Airworthiness experience
- Provide MBSE/SysML expertise and related support to the entire Systems Engineering team
- Integrate models to modern requirements management, architecture, and Systems Engineering software
- Experience working with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) artifacts to include: operations views (OV), systems views (SV), capability views (CV), data views (DV) using systems modeling language (SysML)
- Experience capturing stakeholder needs in models
- Develop and extend system models using existing requirements, interface documentation, and related design and Systems Engineering documents
- Prior Experience working with other DoD Stakeholders
- Experience executing alternative/rapid acquisition authorities
- Broad experience with development, coordination and communication of system engineering strategies and recommendations with mid- and senior-level Service and OSD personnel
