Apogee Engineering is seeking a Senior FMS Systems Engineer to support ISR Sensors and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Division (AFLCMC/WIN) located at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.

What you will be doing:
- Translating FMS user requirements into system requirements which will be used by the weapon system contractor to design, develop, fabricate, test, and evaluate systems, subsystems, and equipment for deployment.
- Assisting in performing technical/mission analyses of operational requirements, assisting in developing system concepts, and performing technological/trade-off study assessments of proposed designs.
- Assisting with processes for drafting project documentation including, SOOs and SOWs, program plans, schedules, and presentations.
- Assisting in drafting regulatory and statutory documentation to include, but not limited to the SEP and life cycle management plan.
- Reviewing Contractor documents and data and providing comments.
- Assisting test teams in the development of test requirements, reviewing test plans.
- Reviewing and analyzing technical proposals or modifications for cost, design feasibility and system compatibility.
- Supporting and conducting engineering performance, effectiveness, cost effectiveness, cost performance, life-cycle cost, producibility, maintainability, supportability, reliability, technical/ schedule risk assessment, and scheduling trade-off studies.
- Supporting the evaluation of IMP, IMS, and SEDS engineering cost estimates.
- Conducting evaluation of systems test plans (such as systems test plans/test and evaluation master plans) and participate in the conduct of system, subsystem, and component testing.
- Providing systems/subsystems integration support for the acquisition, development, and verification of systems and equipment.
What you'll need:
- Security Clearance Required: SECRET
- Must possess one of the following education and experience combinations:
- Master's degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience (12 years preferred), 5 years of which must be in the DoD
- OR, Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience (15 years preferred), 5 years of which must be in the DoD
- OR, a minimum of 16 years of directly related experience (20 years preferred) in lieu of a degree, 8 years of which must be in the DoD
- FMS Experience (preferred)
