SAIC is hiring a Senior System Administrator for the Joint Technology Center/Systems Integration Laboratory (JSIL) in Huntsville, AL to support UAS Simulations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, and email systems
• Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage physical and virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
• Perform server administration tasks in a mixed environment, including user/group management, file permissions, Group Policy, file replication, and resource monitoring
• Manage and Maintain VMware and ESXi infrastructure
• Schedule and perform routine maintenance, patches, and upgrades of computer systems
• Provide help desk and IT support as needed
• Support and maintain Azure DevOps Server
• Additional duties assigned based on changes to business needs

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of system administration experience; four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree

Required Clearance:

• Must be able to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance prior to employment; must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance to maintain employment.

Required Skills:

• Experience providing desktop, server and VM support with Microsoft technologies (This team is running on Windows OS, Windows Server, ESXi\VMware)
• Experience with Virtual Machines and hardware virtualization technology (ESXi and VMWare)
• Understanding of modern TCP/IP networking fundamentals for local area networks
• Familiar with managing and maintaining Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services
• Able to obtain a CompTIA Security+ Certification within 90 days of employment

Desired Skills:

• Azure DevOps
• Experience managing development pipelines
• Information Assurance experience including applying STIGS, resolving IAVA’s and risk acceptance documents
• Able to obtain within 6 months of hire an OS certification Windows Server
• Experience with system imaging processes and configuration management (SCCM\MECM)
