Job Description
Torch Technologies is seeking an Information Systems Administrator Senior to support Facility and Equipment Maintenance (FEM). FEM is a DOD (Joint) system (Navy led). The Air Force portion of FEM supports Industrial Plant Equipment (IPE), Ground Support Equipment (GSE), Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL), Tool Management and Owner Maintenance which is used to track production support equipment for the ALC production shops. This position supports AFLCMC/GBM.
Responsibilities:
This position requires a highly motivated individual with experience in:
Providing support and assistance in the management and operations of program related network systems including, but not limited to, the following:
Providing system administration of Network, Web, and/or communication systems including Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems involving network security.
Preparing technical implementation plans that provide integrated solutions including actions, milestones, timelines, and critical paths required for complete solutions.
Performing the daily activities of configuration and operation of business systems which may be mainframe, mini, client/server, or cloud based.
Optimizing system operation and resource utilization.
Performing system capacity analysis and planning; and, Providing assistance to users in accessing and using business systems.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD
OR, a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective
technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD
OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications.
eight of which must be in the DoD
Must hold active DoD Security Clearance (Secret)
CompTIA security+ CE
Preferred Qualifications:
Possesses the advanced knowledge, experience and recognized ability to be considered highly skilled in
their technical/professional field. Possesses the ability to perform tasks independently and oversee the
efforts of junior and journeyman contractor personnel within the technical/professional discipline.
Demonstrates advanced knowledge of their technical/professional discipline as well as possess a
comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures and practices in their area of expertise (Program Office, Enterprise and Staff Level Support interface).
