Snowflake’s pre-sales team is actively seeking a Global Sales Engineering Strategy & Operations Lead to join our growing team. In this role you will be responsible for the overall global sales engineering go-to market initiatives in order to uplevel our sales engineering team and improve overall sales productivity. You will have the opportunity to apply your experience with technical training, content design, creation and go-to market messaging.
Reporting to the VP of Global Sales Engineering Strategy and Operations you will develop the strategy and creation of our sales engineering go-to market program in a scalable, repeatable and consistent manner on a global scale.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL GE TO:
- Collaborate closely with Sale Engineering Leadership, product management, and sales organization, in developing Sales Engineering go-to market pre-sales strategy, expertise and tools to enable our pre-sales team sell more effectively
- Lead Sales Engineering execution by assisting with planning, facilitating, coordinating and executing activities required to build the SE economy. Activities include training, knowledge capture and dissemination, partner coordination, and coordination with the other business units.
- Create and deliver content, information, and tools to prepare sales engineers to deliver on company business goals including building client relationships, identifying client need, how company products and services can meet client need and capturing opportunities within their accounts
- Develop deep, trusting relationships with Sales leadership and cross functional partners with ongoing communication to continually assess performance gaps and identify needs
- Help refine our pre-sales process and methodology, aligning it to our current sales workflow
- Leverage our sales enablement platforms to effectively deploy, manage and measure sales engineering training
- Find creative and fun ways to incentivize our pre-sales teams and their leadership to practice skills in their day to day operations
ON DAY ONE WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:
- 7+ years of industry experience in a sales engineering or enablement role,
- Experience designing and developing go-to market strategy for a technical pre-sales team
- Direct experience working in the SaaS space. Data Science, Data Warehouse, Cloud, Analytics and/or Business Intelligence experience highly preferred
- Experience creating and delivering interactive and engaging in-person workshops and online scenario based programs, which practice client facing skills, such as discovery questioning, negotiation, objection handling, presentation, etc.
- Organized and able to manage and deliver multiple tasks efficiently, effectively and on time in a metrics based organization
- Excellent writing, editing, and oral communication skills
- Experience with knowledge management, learning management, and enterprise content tools preferred.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:
- The estimated base salary range for this role is $162,000 - $231,000.
- Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
