Senior Staff Field Applications Engineer

We have a Sr. Staff FAE position open in the San Francisco Bay Area supporting Hyperscalers, Enterprise and Telecom customers in the west coast.

Responsibilities

• Lead product demonstration and testing at customer sites.
• Provide technical support on-site for Fiber Optics applications.
• Assist customers with installation and configuration.
• Partner with Design Team on understanding/implementing custom design request.
• Conduct Failure Analysis, identify root cause, and conclude with corrective actions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships and rapport with customer's design/testing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Fiber Optics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of work experience in Fiber Optics Industry, including hands-on experience on fiber optic module design/testing.
• Experience in design Optics Module is preferred.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality customer support and satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel to Taiwan and China from the United States.

Location & Travel

This position is full time and on-site based in the San Jose, CA. This position can expect around 25% of travel.
