Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and professional technical person,who enjoys multi-tasking in a fast-paced, fun, and friendly environment. Inthis position, you will be focused on technical support of Siemens EDA'sleading-edge Calibre products. Drive adoption of Siemens EDA Calibre family of softwareproducts by executing both pre-sale and post-sale technical support activities.Assess how company products meet customer needs.
Prepare product specificationsfor the development and installation of customized applications/solutions.Develop and deliver software demonstrations and technical presentations.Present software solutions at conferences and technical forums to increaseawareness of products and generate leads. Perform benchmark evaluations forcustomers. Provide on-site support during enablement, integration, anddeployment of and when issues arise with the use of Siemens EDA softwareproducts.
Work with area sales management, account teams, and customers tounderstand business opportunities. Contribute to technical sales plans andcommunicate with peers and field technical management on progress and accountstatus. Provide pre-sale technical support in sales presentations and productdemonstrations.
Work with marketing and product managers to define new productsand provide insight from the field. Establish strategies to broaden targetapplications for software products. The job will be based in Fremont, CA with as much as 25%travel.
Qualifications: Minimum education required for the position and fields ofstudy Master's degree, or foreign academic equivalent, inElectrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, VLSI or Will also accept abachelor's degree, or foreign academic equivalent, in Electrical Engineering,Computer Engineering, VLSI Required Experience with IC Physical Verification including(Calibre, ICV, Assura, and PVS) Preferred Experience with IC Digital Design or CustomLayout and or related CAD skills Preferred Experience with DRC (Design Rule Checking), LVS(Layout vs. Schematic), ERC (Electrical Rule Checks), PEX (ParasiticExtraction), PERC (Programmable Electrical Rule Checking) type verificationflows Preferred Experience with IC Digital Design (Place andRoute) tools Must enjoy working with customers and in a large teamenvironment. Expert-level scripting/programming skills are a plus.
A working familiarity with Unix and Linux OS, and previousexperience with scripting or C programming required Strong communication skills Proactive self-starter with a focus on results Motivated team player/leader Exposure to sales and applications environment is a plus. Transformthe Everyday The total cashcompensation range for this position is $135,700 to $271,400 with 20% of thisbeing comprised of an annual incentive target. The actual compensation offeredis based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additionalfactors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevanteducation/training.
