Staff Accountant Duties:

• Maintain accurate and up to date financial records, including ledgers, journals and other accounting documentation in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Record financial transactions such as income and expenses in our Accounts Payables and Receivable systems.
• Record payroll transactions and assist with payroll weekly, monthly and annual reporting requirements.
• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts.
• Understanding of accounting and financial statements.
• Assist with inventory and obtaining samples to mail to clients.
• Assist with recording and reconciling company capital projects.
• Follow all established safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies, procedures, and recognized practices.
• Performed other tasks as assigned.

Education and Experience Criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 2 + years of experience in accounting
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), and experience in QuickBooks is preferred.
• Ability to deliver high quality work with limited supervision.
• Team player, excellent communication skills, collaborative and detail oriented.
• Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance in the office.

Pay: Up to $85,000.00 per year
