Become an integral part of a diverse team in the ManTech's Army Division. Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Software Quality Assurance Testerto work remotely andin the National Capital Region to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Ensuring the quality of the software adheres to the user requirements and usability, generating test scripts to verify the user requirements, modifying software test scenarios as needed, performing analysis of test results, and reporting non-conformity and quality issues.
  • Coordinating with system engineers and application developers to resolve defects.
  • Creating and report testing metrics to project management in order to assess stability and status of all testing activities.

  • Coordinating CI/CD Pipeline regressions across test environments, updating results for developers.
  • Assisting with configuration management tasks on a project (test scripts, coordination of requirement changes) as required.
  • Analyzing release scope, providing estimates, ensuring requirement traceability, performing product testing, and creating test reports.
  • Performing functional testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing, and security patch testing.
  • Creating and running SQL queries for data validation, analyzing software testing automation tools, and creating and running automated test scripts.

  • Participating in program standup meetings to discuss system status and technical issues.
  • Analyzing requirements or user stories across products and applications to User Acceptance Tests, test cases, and test scenarios.
  • Identifying and documenting feature requirements for Minimum Viable Product (MVP) development.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 6 years of relevant work experience
  • DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification
  • Experience performing UI testing, database testing, and creating test documentation
  • Experienced in Linux and Windows systems and troubleshooting
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new system interfaces.

  • Follow change management process, including creating required change management documentation, and using tools such as JIRA or Confluence.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Ability to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans/cases
  • Ability to estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate quality testing activities

  • Understanding of how to develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
  • Experience testing weekly builds and full regression testing for production releases.
  • Experience in identifying, isolating, and tracking bugs within software

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Testing software deployed in an AWS, C2S, Azure, or Cloud environment
  • Willingness to learn and perform code analysis, develop test automation scripts to execute and improve the efficiency of software testing
  • Experience with ACAS and Fortify scans and testing
  • Experience with load testing
  • Familiarity with Test Driven Development

  • Small scale development of script level routines and web applications: languages (Shell Script, JavaScript, Java, XML), web environments (e.g. Apache), software development environment (source control, build process)
  • Experience in software development
  • Familiarity with researching new tools, technologies, and testing processes
  • Experience with DevSecOps and Continuous Integration / Continuous Development (CI/CD) Tools
  • Experience with automated build, test, deployment pipelines

Security Clearance Requirements:
  • DOD Secret

Physical Requirements:
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.

The projected compensation range for this position is $90,600-$150,700. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
