Responsibilities:
The Rental Billing department is responsible for the maintenance and management of the billing, commissions and invoicing software for customers who rent globally from Enterprise Mobility, including the software which transforms rentals from our Franchise Partners into Enterprise. This also includes maintaining and managing interfaces with internal applications to deliver electronic data to external organizations and customers. Enterprise continuously strives to modernize and redevelop our applications in an effort to keep pace with the competitive market, and the Rental Billing team has a lot of upcoming work to modernize solutions. Through efforts such as the Rental Platform Unification initiative, we are excited to leverage new technologies to rewrite RFS using React JS, reduce complexities in our solutions, build an event driven architecture to better track data throughout our environment, introduce APIs for billing capabilities and ensure our solutions are cloud ready. As a SeniorSoftware Analyst in Rental Billing, you will be responsible for evaluating business requests to determine feasibility, identify options, and recommend solutions for software development or enhancements. You will assist in building the product roadmap and ensure the delivery of the product meets the business needs with high quality. You will assist with interpreting customer requirements into conceptual and logical design specifications. The Software Analyst Senior also assists with developing interfaces and prototypes, recommends changes to meet requirements, and documents application issues. You will provide instruction and guidance to less senior team members on new tasks and assignments.
In this role you will serve as a critical team member, collaborating cross-functionally with software engineers, QA, and business sponsors, and filling the role of Product Owner/Scrum Master on the team. This is the perfect opportunity for a detail-oriented, technically curious, and efficiency-driven individual, as much of your time will be focused on supporting our strategic initiatives in Rental Billing. Strong interpersonal skills, as well as communication skills (both written and oral) will be important.
- Monitor task automation and implement process improvements; recommend enhancements that result in increased quality, efficiencies, and overall value to the IT organization.
- Monitor the effectiveness of established service level agreements to manage customer expectations and quality standards; assist with defining new service level agreements in response to changing needs.
- Document application issues within the problem management system with clear, concise, and accurate information; manage and track issue to resolution; communicate resolution to appropriate personnel.
- Monitor incidents and production related issues to ensure they are assigned, worked and resolved by the team.
- Validate that new software releases are production ready and provide documentation to end users or support team members.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
- 3 or more years of relevant experience
- Hands on experience with SQL
- Familiarity with regression testing, release testing, and/or troubleshooting system issues
- Experience using JIRA/Confluence or another Project Tracking System
- Professional experience as a Software Analyst, Business Analyst, Product Owner, Scrum Master or similar
- Experience working within the Agile methodology
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio
- Experience complying with data security standards, Enterprise-wide systems and working on large data integration initiatives
- Experience in leading projects from requirements gathering to effectively communicating with the business and IT team members
- Must be organized with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to timelines
- Must have strong attention to detail and ability to document both system design information and processes
- Ability to identify root cause and conduct initial investigation into problems as they arise
- Ability to partner with software development team members to communicate a detailed understanding of requirements
- Ability to clearly define and create detailed documentation to describe complex business processes to the lowest level
- Ability to validate that new software release are production ready and provide documentation for it to end users
- Prior success facilitating team meetings, daily standups, providing status reports, and conducting analysis
- Work well in a team collaborative setting, coordinating work and addressing work prioritization, escalating to management when necessary
- Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
