Position:Senior Sales Account Executive – Enterprise SaaS
Location: San Diego / Carlsbad, CA USA, hybrid role (3 days a week in office) based out of our HQ in Carlsbad, CA.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 base plus commission
Reports to: COO
About the Position:
SleepScore Labs is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Sales Account Executiveto supercharge our SaaS commercialization activities, drive revenue growth and expand our market presence. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated self-starter to create impact from day one through our existing partner pipeline as well as have the autonomy to shape and grow our pipeline and commercialization activities further, influencing both career and company expansion trajectory.
Responsibilities:
- Plan: Develop and execute strategic sales KPIs, plans, and forecasts to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Execute: Prospect and build a strong pipeline and ensure timely closure of deals with a focus on acquiring new accounts and then expanding them.
- Report: Implement, oversee, and deliver comprehensive sales performance reporting, providing actionable insights to optimize strategies and tactics to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Science, BizDev) to ensure alignment and enhance customer delivery and satisfaction.
- Engage: Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential partners and industry influencers.
- Inform: Identify new business opportunities, market and technology trends, and competitor activities to optimize sales strategies.
- Influence: Collaborate with the company leadership and executive team to contribute to overall company strategy, growth initiatives, and competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated Track Record: Proven and successful track record of at least 7 years in SaaS sales with a focus on developing and executing successful sales strategies in a competitive market and consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
- SaaS Expertise: strong familiarity with SaaS KPIs, for example Lead-to-Customer Conversion Time & Rate, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), Customer Retention Rate, Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR), Upsell and Cross-Sell Revenue, Sales Pipeline Health, Activity Metrics, and Forecast Accuracy.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to create and adjust assets (presentations, pitches, etc.) and articulate differentiated SaaS value propositions to diverse audiences.
- Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of SaaS business models, KPIs, forecasting, reporting, and sales strategies/tactics.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to leverage data to drive informed decision-making.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
