The Senior Revenue Data Analyst is responsible for driving revenue growth initiatives in collaboration with the Director of Revenue and the reservations division, ensuring alignment with the property's financial revenue targets. This role focuses on maximizing revenue and optimizing profitability across all revenue streams through strategic planning, data analysis, pricing optimization, distribution management, and cross-departmental collaboration to achieve the resort's financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead revenue management and reservations efforts to achieve properties' financial revenue targets by balancing volume and pricing strategies effectively.

- Develop and refine pricing strategies based on thorough assessments of demand fluctuations, seasonal trends, special events, and other relevant factors.

- Analyze market trends, competitor actions, and demand patterns to make informed pricing and inventory decisions.

- Initiate and adjust pricing strategies based on demand shifts, seasonality, special events, and other relevant factors.

- Forecast revenue and occupancy trends to inform operational and marketing strategies.

- Manage room inventory to ensure optimal distribution and availability across various channels.

- Oversee resort inventory distribution across online travel agencies (OTAs), global distribution systems (GDS), direct booking channels, and other platforms.

- Cultivate relationships with OTA partners, negotiate commission rates, and optimize the channel mix to reduce distribution costs.

- Monitor channel performance and identify opportunities to improve visibility and conversion rates.

- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to provide insights to senior management and guide decision-making.

- Utilize revenue management software and tools to track and analyze key performance metrics.

- Foster collaboration across sales, marketing, and reservations teams to align revenue strategies with business goals.

- Guide group bookings, promotions, and other revenue-generating initiatives.

- Monitor competitive pricing, promotions, and market positioning to maintain a competitive edge.

- Analyze historical and current data to identify revenue trends, booking patterns, and growth opportunities.

- Develop strategies for differentiation and capturing a larger market share.

- Build collaborative relationships with peers to drive revenue growth and enhance guest satisfaction.

- Stay updated on industry competitors and local events to inform occupancy strategies.

- Perform other duties as required.

Education, Skills, and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Economics, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

- Previous experience in revenue management, pricing, or distribution within the hospitality industry.

- Proficiency in revenue management software and tools.

- Strong analytical, and quantitative skills, and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.

- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work collaboratively.

- Knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and distribution channels.

- 3+ years of revenue management experience in a high-volume resort, preferably with vacation rental homes and amenities.

- Ability to understand financials, budgets, and safety procedures.

- Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.

- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and lead the brand values effectively.

- Capable of performing in a fast-paced work environment and meeting physical requirements as needed.
