Job Description
A top ten developer is looking for a Senior Project Superintendent with experience in Multi-Family, Apartments, Hotels, or Assisted Living construction projects. The ideal candidate will lead and manage the construction team on site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest level of quality. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage pre-construction development, such as managing all consultants.
- Schedule trades and manage week-ahead reporting.
- Preparing and defining the project scope of work, financial plan, goals, and deliverables.
- Tracking project deliveries using project management tools.
- Coordinating directly and indirectly with project staff to ensure successful completion of the project – Directing, supervising, supporting, and coordinating the project team members/staff.
- Communicating with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to establish cordial/effective working relationships.
- Reporting on project progress and sharing relevant information.
Qualifications:
- Multi-Family, Apartments, Hotels, or Assisted Living construction projects
- Wood Frame Construction, TYPE III, TYPE II, building experience.
- Project Management experience with an affordable housing developer, General Contractor, or CM firm
- Strong relationships within the local sub-contractor industry
- Prior experience working as an Owner Representative or General Contractor Project Management.
- 10 years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects
- 5 years of previous experience with gathering requirements from the client/business and documentation
- Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint, Bluebeam, and Procore.
- Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs.
