Job Description
- Spearhead all customer interactions, combining technical expertise and commercial acumen.
- Manage internal teams to ensure timely software and equipment deliveries.
- Balance project budgets and oversee cost control, reporting regularly to executive management.
- Foster the growth of team managers to enhance overall team efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal groups to establish project schedules and optimize scheduling processes.
- Initiate document transmittals to clients and handle customer feedback and change management.
- Evaluate subcontract proposals and select manufacturers to support project goals.
- Assist Sales with contract reviews and pre-award meetings to support proposal efforts.
Requirements
- Education: Four-year college degree, Engineering or MBA with relevant management experience.
- Experience: 8-10+ years, with prior Project Manager experience.
- 5-8 Years in the energy sector.
- Experience working with C-level clients.
- Travel: 10-15% (domestic and international).
- Strong knowledge of HRSG design, fabrication, and erection, along with project scheduling tools and contract management.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Project.
- PMP certification.
- Detailed knowledge of HRSG design, fabrication, and erection, as well as internal processes and workflows.
- Understanding of contract legalese, contract management methods, and contract flow-down requirements.
- Travel 10-15% of the time by plane or car. Available/on-call for response to customer/job site issues at all times.
