Senior Project Manager - Construction
Must live within 30 minutes of driving distance to our Michigan Office

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develops and directs Project Management Department
- Maintain and monitor strategic oversight of projects: scope of work, costs, delivery, etc.
- Develop and maintain project management software.
- Develops and maintains department processes, standards, tools and metrics
- Oversee the processing and tracking of orders and contracts as they are received.
- Assigns and monitors Project Coordinator, Project Manager activity and performance
- Ability to act and perform in role of Project Coordinator, Project Manager as required
- Attends project kick off meetings
- Review and assess project performance/results
- Schedule attend and assess postmortem project reviews.
- Responsible and accountable for the performance of individuals under their supervision.
- Works with Human Resources to hire and develop Project Management staff and resources
- Complete periodic performance reviews
- Establishes professional customer and vendor relationships.
- Maintain and account for all assigned company property (vehicle, computer, phone, etc.) to minimize financial loss due to damage or lost inventory
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participates, interacts and communicates with other departments regarding customer service, process improvements, quality and safety programs
- May be required to travel to EST offices or project locations
- May be required to train individuals or small groups on related company processes, software, equipment etc.
- Performs any directly related duties assigned
- Complete OSHA/EM 385-1-1 Training and maintain certificates as required
- May be required to travel to EST offices or project locations
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3-5 years in successful large scale project management role, preferably in industrial, construction, or government applications.
- Project Management certification a plus.
- Previous Project Management Supervisory experience preferred.
- Associates or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college required.
- Proven capability supervising teams.
- Strong knowledge and background in mechanical, plumbing, electrical and electronic systems a plus.
- Basic ability, acumen and knowledge to troubleshoot equipment a plus.
- Strong customer orientation.
- Understanding of the importance of being a team player to achieve organizational goals.
- Excellent communication and listening skills, self-motivated, results driven, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable, extroverted personality, well organized and dependable.
- Ability to travel.
- Fluent in English with the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft office applications and project management software.
- Driver’s license and excellent driving record required; may be required to drive for long periods of time.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Military base passes and other access credentials.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to routinely lift 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds
- Ability to work outside under various environmental conditions
- May include some exposure to hazardous materials and equipment.
- Ability to maneuver around moving objects, vehicles, and/or machinery.
- May be expected to drive for long periods of time.
- Ability to climb ladders with 300 lb. weight limit.

Pay Range $105k-$115k
