Job Description
OVERVIEW
Provides expert level project management services and supports multiple major (cross-functional) initiatives as well as corporate strategic initiatives and corporate strategy goals. A driver for the company and department able to guide ideas from inception, through development, create and manage the project plan and implementation process, and ultimately ensure the delivery of the solution.
RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
1. Responsible for driving five or more larger scale projects of the highest complexity throughout the Project Lifecycle. 1) Creation/Approval, 2) Monitoring/Adjustments to Plan/Reporting, 3) Implementation/Acceptance, 4) Closure/Post Mortem Reviews.
2. Highly versatile, agile learner, able to learn, question, and dive into any project/opportunity.
3. Displaying both breadth and depth, provides expert project management advice and counsel to both project sponsors on project team and when mentoring less experienced project management personnel.
4. Develops project plans independently to achieve sponsor buy-in. Able to assess understaffed, and under skilled teams and develop a recovery plan.
5. Able to cross departmental lines to align team for project success.
6. Performs assignments independently. Acts on own initiative and awareness of Sheetz internal dynamics, market conditions, and technical innovations to provide solutions to problems before they occur
7. Informs management of progress as scheduled and/or on a need-to-know basis and drives solutions to ensure project completion.
8. Balances resources, schedules, and financial factors while solving problems with multi-discipline approach.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical, management, or business related field is required.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ applicable project management experience with demonstrated project successes required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership role, including demonstrated success with multi-person or cross functional team leadership required
- Knowledge of project management tools and techniques and leading cross functional teams required
- Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of organizational leadership and work on all types of efforts (technical/non-technical, process, performance) in any organizational department required
- Financial acumen - ROI analysis preferred.
Licenses/Certifications
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) required within 1 year of hire date.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) required within 2 years of hire date.
