Company seeks to hire a Senior Project Accountant who will assist the Project Management Team with managing job set up, job cost, billings, purchase orders and subcontracts for their projects.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
- Project setup including detailed budget review, change orders and cost code set up.
- Monthly job forecasting and reporting as needed.
- Prepare journal entries and budget revisions.
- Attend quarterly cost to complete meetings - on/offsite
- Attend CTC meetings for Jr. Project Accountants & Project Accountants as needed.
- Take a leadership role in the CTC process.
- Set up GMP sheets and assist others as needed.
- Assist with quarterly WIP input as needed.
- Assist with year-end audit.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business from an accredited university.
- Minimum 5 years Job Cost experience preferably in construction industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting rules and procedures.
- Advanced Microsoft skills including Excel.
- Vlookup, pivot tables, etc.
