This position is located in the Office of D.C. Pensions, Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Human Resources and Chief Human Capital Officer, Department of the Treasury. As a Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on program development and monitoring as well as supporting projects, operations, and management activities.
Qualifications:You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.Specialized Experience: For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as proven proficiency and supportable (as evidenced in the resume) hands-on experience in ALL of the following:
- Interpreting and drafting legislative, financial, and programmatic guidance; AND
- Collecting, analyzing, and integrating detailed and/or ambiguous information and communicating it to the appropriate office staff or executives to support the successful execution of office operations; AND
- Independently identifying and performing program assessment and management reviews; AND
- Coordinating with internal and external business partners to develop and execute program strategies.
TIME-IN-GRADE: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-15, you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks.
TIME AFTER COMPETITIVE APPOINTMENT: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
