- Department: Associate Travel Program Float Staff
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, days
- Location: Remote, with minimal travel
The Director will offer support and leadership to the travel operations team. Direct the travel operations team by ensuring the team meets expectations and goals. Oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure alignment with national policies and procedures.
Position Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison between hospitals and travelers. Maintain daily engagement with hospitals.
- Oversee the operations of the organization’s travel, identifying gaps in staffing and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with leaders to align national initiatives with departmental key performance indicators. Expand the travel program while meeting national goals and expectations.
- Ensure alignment of policies with national standards. Collaborate with the national Central Processing Department to synchronize on-boarding and education requirements.
- Conduct training for new staff and ensure continuous education for the existing team.
- Expand the travel program to align with national goals and expectations.
- High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
- Leadership experience managing an Internal Float Pool or healthcare agency operations strongly preferred.
