About the Work:
The Home Care Consultant is responsible for building and maintaining relationships and referral partnerships with hospitals, other medical facilities, and local health care partners across the entire continuum of care. This position will be responsible for managing and growing our territory. New business is generated from a variety of Sales and Marketing activities, including researching and pursuing new referral sources and enhancing relationships with existing partners. The Director of Business Development is responsible for reporting results in moving relationships forward on a regular basis, discussing successes and opportunities, and demonstrating documented progress and growth production.
You will:
- Develop a strategy to achieve growth metrics and gain market share for assigned territories
- Perform all phases of the sales process
- Identify new referral relationships and maintain existing relationships. Target accounts include: hospitals, physician groups, rehabilitation centers, home health agencies, assisted and independent living communities, hospice agencies and more.
- Become an industry expert by developing and maintaining knowledge of health care continuum
- Establish deep understanding of Home Instead services
- Participate in and contribute to the development of educational programs offered to clients, prospects and referral partners.
- Contribute on company social media accounts to promote brand awareness
- Manage referral accounts in Sales Force
- Report on your metrics weekly to demonstrate progress
Your skills/background include:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3 to 6 years of sales/business development experience
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to track metrics and measure performance
- Experience in health care or senior space desired but not required
- Experience with Sales Force a plus
