Senior Product Manager /Release Train Engineer

Job Summary
This position plans, organizes, schedules, coordinates, and tracks activities for developing, deploying, and upgrading software and hardware. He/She develops and presents technical and business solutions to peers. This position identifies areas for process improvement and contributes to solutions. He/She identifies project issues within established processes and procedures and makes recommendations for problem prevention. This position plans, schedules, and monitors work activities to meet budget, schedule, and quality targets to comply with established standards. He/She interacts with field locations to standardize support practices and procedures. This position coordinates deployments and implementations with ISM departments and user groups and facilitates activities to ensure projects and programs meet established deadlines.
Responsibilities :
Facilitate and coordinate the Agile Release Train (ART) process and events, including Program Increment (PI) Planning, System Demos, Inspect and Adapt workshops, and Scrum of Scrums meetings.
Drive the execution and delivery of the program increment, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams, stakeholders, and product owners to ensure effective delivery and issue resolution.
Track and report on the progress of the Agile Release Train, including key metrics, risks, and dependencies.
Identify and remove impediments or obstacles that hinder team productivity or impact the successful delivery of the program increment.
Coach and mentor teams and individuals on Agile and SAFe principles, practices, and processes to improve their effectiveness and maturity.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the ART, encouraging teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Collaborate with other Release Train Engineers and Agile leaders to drive organizational-wide improvements and promote consistency across ARTs.
Support the Product Management team in prioritizing and sequencing backlog items to maximize the value delivered by the ART.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Agile and SAFe, and contribute to the evolution of the Agile Release Train process
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a Release Train Engineer or similar role in an Agile/SAFe environment.
Strong understanding of Agile principles, values, and practices, with practical experience in applying them to large-scale software development projects.
Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities, with a focus on finding win-win solutions.
Experience in using Agile project management tools and systems (e.g., Mural, AzureDevOps (TFS), Planview ProjectPlace) to manage and track team activities and progress.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and principles is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Continuous learning mindset and a passion for staying up-to-date with emerging Agile and SAFe practices and trends.
Collaborate with business sponsors to define feature prioritization and the roadmap
Experience with Agile Business Analysis, Business Process Analysis, User Stories and User Story Prioritization
