POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Producer is responsible for orchestrating and managing the creative production photography process from start to finish and coordinating the various creative components of a project to ensure the creative and brand objectives are met. The Senior Producer will ensure that all elements of a production are executed seamlessly, on time, and on budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and creativity.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work and partner with the Director of Brand and Creative, Senior content manager, and VP of Design and Creative to ensure all creative components support the brand identity and further the creative vision.
- Own all production for collection level on figure & flat photography.
- Oversee Studio Manager to manage model E-Com photography & campaigns.
- Schedule and book all talent.
- Manages Photography Budget under the leadership of the Director of Brand and Creative.
- Maintains budget throughout the season from shot count to creative requests.
- Approve the review, signoff, and archiving of all invoices and estimates within each shoot budget.
- Manage the finalization and submission of all advances, billings, usage agreements, and post-production work and ensure that these are within the allocated budget.
- Facilitate schedules of on-staff and freelance talent between shoots and office coverage
- Attend Creative / Merchant meetings as needed.
- Support senior content manager in meetings when necessary and build out shoots with them.
- Team with senior content manager to maintain seasonal creative strategy on individual shoots.
- Suggest brand-right talent and Manage studio manager to organize all portfolio reviews and on-site casting.
- Attend necessary on-set production when needed.
- Periodically scout locations as they pertain to shoots.
- Partner with the Director of Brand and Creative to manage all art due timelines and sample timelines.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.A./B.S degree or equivalent experience
- 6 years Producing experience—print (catalog, magazine, newspaper, collateral) and the Web.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in fashion/retail
- MAC/PC proficient—Word and Excel knowledge necessary
- Experience as key liaison with, as well as influencing and partnering with senior leadership.
- Ability to travel to shoots.
- Ability to make high-risk, timely decisions; deadline driven.
