About The Role

There is strong support for the People agenda at all levels and regions of the business, and delivering a first-class people experience to our employee base in the US. We’re now searching for a Senior People Partner to help us do that.

Reporting to our Chief People Officer based in London, this role will be responsible for leading on all aspects of the People agenda in our New York and Boston offices. Whilst we have some processes, practices and very talented People team members already in place, this is a rare opportunity for someone to help scale our US office and influence key areas of our employee experience, culture and management capability.

All of that said, we’re a scale up and all of us wear multiple hats in order to get the job done. So you’ll have plenty of opportunities to get involved in cross-team initiatives, too.

Key responsibilities:

• Accountable for all aspects of the People ecosystem at Duco US, including employee relations; coaching and supporting managers and employees; payroll; benefits management; diversity and inclusion; and overseeing and implement global people strategy within the US entity
• Act as a strategic consultant and trusted advisor to the global leadership team on all people related issues in the US.
• Work with our Talent team to play a part in our recruitment processes, interviewing, sourcing and creating talent pools.
• Provide thought leadership on all aspects above, partnering with the rest of the People team, Duco’s senior leadership team and management community to design and deliver first class People experience.

Requirements

You’ll likely have experience in some or all of the following areas:-

• Significant experience providing HR generalist experience in a fast-moving, international, technology company, with exposure to the support of commercial teams
• Experience leading and managing a small team of HR professionals and acting as part of the local management team
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement new HR policies, processes or systems; provide thought leadership on how employee experience can be improved; and share metrics that report back on the effectiveness of those things
• Good knowledge of US labour law, using this to advise managers and employees where needed
• Exposure to operational people ops tasks and processes such as contract management, payroll management, administrative tasks and vendor management
• Ability to work with, build relationships with and partner with senior stakeholders 
• Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to creating first class employee experiences for all stakeholders.
• Comfortable with working at pace in a fast-moving and changeable environment
• Drive to deliver results, enthusiasm and passion for people
